International cooperation minister heads to Geneva  

SANA'A, July 14 (Saba)- Minister of Planning & Intl
Cooperation, deputy premier Ahmad Sofan headed on Monday to Geneva, chairing the Yemeni delegation to meeting of the UN Economic and Social Council
The council is going to hold its meetings throughout the period of 14 - 19 July 2003

In his statement to Saba , Sofan explained that the meeting is going to discuss issues of rural development for the purpose of creating a comprehensive development in the least developing countries

In addition, the meeting is discussing the role assumed to be played by donor countries in order to alleviate the abjection of poverty, as well as the recommendations of third conference held in Brussels in 2001
