Increase in Banking Assets abroad  

SANA'A, July 15, (Saba) - The assets of banking organ has increased by the end of May 2003 to Yrs 917,2 milliard from Yrs 894,5 as the end of April 2003, with a 2,5 % increase
An official report, made by Central Bank of Yemen of which Al-Thawra economic could obtain a copy, stated that this increase resulted from the surplus of May balance of payments
The report pointed out that the exchange rate reached Yrs 182,89 for a US$ in May with an increase of 0,2 % from the 183,64 rate recorded at the end of April 2003
