Yemen and Syria sign mechanism of implementing transportation agreement  

SANA'A, July 16 (Saba)- Yemeni side in Yemeni-Syrian technical joint committee for transportation retuned home on Wednesday after several-day visit to Syria in which they participated in meetings of the committee

The side includes undersecretary of transportation Ministry, Mohammad Al-Maqalah and general director of land transportation Saleh Abdullah Al-Wali who pointed out to Saba that the meeting resulted in signing the mutual mechanism to implement agreement of transporting passengers and goods through land ways of the two countries accordance with decision of the Yemeni-Syrian higher committee taken during its meeting in Damascus last January

They added that the technical committee for transportation held a number of meetings concerning a set of tasks related to cooperation in field of transportation such as executive mechanism for agreement of land transportation for good and passengers between two countries
They said that the two sides agreed on forming committee to follow implementation this mechanism

On regarded to air-transportation, the two sides agreed on holding direct meetings between representatives of civic aviation in both countries

Yemeni side received a copy of draft of sea-transportation which was directed to Yemeni Foreign Ministry

Al-Wali announced that Yemen will sign executive mechanism for all agreements in field of transportation with eastern Arab courtiers, indicating that Yemen inked the executive mechanism with Jordan to ease process of transporting goods and vehicles between two countries
