President Saleh reaffirmes need for Arab unity  


SANA'A, July 17(Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh confirmed that he has intended to work with support of all loyalists to build state of law and order

In his reply to the question concerning power succession President Saleh clarified that the matter depends upon constitution which determines clearly the term of presidency

He said that has taken power amid difficult situations as the country was lacking for security, stability, development and there is no confidence between officials and people

"The country's governance was centering only in three governorates including Sana'a, Hodeidah and Taiz and areas that link these three governorates
But we could in cooperation with loyalists and trustees tide security and stability in previously called north Yemen
We could ceasefire in middle areas," president said

He said that the opposition parties are integral part of regime and authority, and when any head of any party becomes President of the Republic he becomes president of the homeland

He emphasized that he is near from people and that he believes in the necessity of existence of political multiparty system

On the Arab level, president confirmed Yemen's commitment to work alongside other Arab countries to develop Arab League towards the achievement of Arab Unity
He said Arabs need Arab common defence and called Arab nations to follow the European Union in terms of unity and solidarity to keep respect and high reputation of Arab nations
